Editing & Encoding
Editing video and film is both a creative and a technical part of the post-production process of filmmaking. It is the art and craft of cutting and assembling selected clips by an editor. The process of manipulating and rearranging video or film takes to produce a new creative work. The editor selects footage from the raw footage to assemble sequences of shots into a finished movie. The editor helps complete the director’s vision of the movie. The only art that is unique to cinema, separating filmmaking from other art forms that preceded it.
Video Encoding is the process of compressing and changing video content to a digital file or format, which will in turn make the video content compatible for different devices and platforms.
